Flambeau Run Rig

Rich won Best in Show Flambeau Run at the 2006 Great Lakes World Championships with this great decoy and jig stick combination.  The 7.25" fish is carved from northern white cedar with a great woodburned finish.  It has antiqued copper fins and hand painted glass eyes.  The jigstick is carved from red cedar and the line tie fish is carved from sumac.  The Flambeau Run is a special event where the carver builds a fish and stick, then demonstrates and presents the rig to the judges.
