Website Changes 11/20/2011

Thanks to all of our friends and customers who visited us at our 15th Tuckerton Decoy Show in September.  Once again we had a great show; sales were strong and Rich won his 11th Tuckerton Best in Show in the fish decoy competition.  Business has been brisk ever since and Rich has been spending lots of time in the shop getting caught up.  We have listed several new carvings this update and will be adding many more before Christmas.  Many of the carvings are marked "special order" but several of those will be available in time for the holidays.  Contact rich@darkwaterdecoys.com to find out about new fish becoming available.

We have added 8 new carvings to the site this update, including new Large and Smallmouth Bass, American Shad, Sucker, and Rainbow Trout decoys.  Business has been terrific since before Christmas and we thank all of our new and long time customers for making this possible.  In the meantime Rich is busy carving fish for the site and the upcoming Batsto Decoy Show so watch for a lot of new carvings on the site in the next few weeks.  If there is something in particular you are looking for be sure to contact us, it might be something that Rich is working on.  Of course you can always contact us for special orders as well.

Well, Christmas season is officially over but we remain busy here at Dark Water Decoys.  We are enjoying a great start to our new year, lots of new customers and sales.  We have a lot of carvings on the site marked "special order" because they have recently sold, and Rich is busy on quite a few new fish and also some special orders.  Look for many new fish as we hopefully head into spring soon.  We have listed 7 new carvings on this update which include some new miniature decorative carvings on driftwood, and also a few new decoys that have been unavailable lately.  Thanks to all of our old and new customers for keeping Rich mighty busy during our harsh winter here in Pennsyltucky!

Thanks to all of our friends and customers for a very rewarding Christmas season.  Sales exceeded our expectations in this tough economy and we are looking forward to a good year in 2011.  A couple of carvings that were not available have been listed with this update, and we will be adding several more carvings in the next week or two.  We have also posted Rich's class and show schedule for the first half of 2011; see below for details.

Website Changes 11/21/2010

In addition to all of the changes noted below, we have added quite a few new fish this week, including new Collector Series Lures and for the first time ever we have a page showing some of Rich's award winning decoys that are now available on the site.  In addition, we are offering new miniature decorative carvings, see the "& More Decorative Carvings" page for info on these neat little fish.   Look for lots more new carvings during the coming weeks and months.

Well, it's been quite a busy year and we have finally gotten around to doing a much needed major update to the website.  We have added a large number of new carvings (36 total) to the site and will be adding even more in the next couple of weeks.  A lot of the Collector's Series Lures were sold at recent shows but we will have all of the sold out lures available by early December.  Contact rich@darkwaterdecoys.com to reserve any that are currently unavailable.

It was an exciting year for sure with the highlight being our Alaskan trip in August.  Rich fished for Salmon and Halibut out of Sitka, Alaska and you will soon see a complete set of Alaskan Salmon carvings for sale.  See a photo from the trip on the Darkwater News page.  We also enjoyed a couple of excellent shows this fall at the Tuckerton Decoy Show and Batsto, NJ Country Living Show.  Thanks to all of our old and new customers for stopping by and making the shows very successful despite our weak economy.

Online shopping still available through Pay Pal.  Purchases can also be made with check or money order.  Shipping charges on online purchases will be a flat $7.50 per fish for orders within the continental United States.  Overseas buyers please email for shipping costs.
