Woodburned Folk Art Decoy

This 7.25" woodburned decoy finished 2nd place in the Woodburned Finish class at the 2006 Great Lakes World Championships.  It is hand carved from cedar with antiqued copper fins and antique style glass eyes.  It has a woodburned scale pattern and if finished only by woodburning since no sealers or varnishes are allowed in this class.
